Production: week 3

In the final week of production I developed my front cover and double page spread further. So far I ave focused mainly on my DPS, but in this week I added the finishing touches to that and bean to form and finish my front cover. However I did change my DPS as I changed the colour scheme from orange and black to pink and black:

As you can see I also added in a text wrap around the shape and a breakout box to improve the layout of my DPS.

For the majority of te third week of production I played around with my front cover on Photoshop until I reached this. I spent a lot of time finding the correct font and then resizing the fonts to add emphasis to key words in my sell lines such as "Cheryl Cole". I also used the same technique but with changing the colour from black to pink to emphasis words such as "good" on the get good grades sell line. I did not edit the main image much as I wanted the models to look natural, however I did change the brightness slightly to make them stand out off the page and to stop them from looking dull. I am please with the results of my front cover and double page spread as though I changed a lot from the original design I had planned, I feel as if it turned out better.
