Photographic Skills

Which of the following photographic features/equipment have you used on a camera before:

Manual Focus features	Y		I used this for my very first photographic project that I uploaded onto my blog. I now feel that I am very confident using this tool, especially in contrast with my lack of experience with this tool at the beginning of the course.
Shutter Speed	Y		I used shutter speeds on another photograghic project that I uploaded to my blog, using it to capture shapes with light and capture clear movement to prevent picures being blurred. I now feel confident using this tool, however I could use more pratice to further improve my knowledge and usage of this tool.
Aperture control	Y		I practised using aperture control with objects showing how using different aperture effects the light let into the image and the focus of certain objects in a photo – in my case I used a house ornament. I uploaded the results onto my blog and now feel I am confident using this tool.
Continuous Shoot Mode	Y		To improve and gain experience in continuous shoot mode, I captured  images of blowig bubbles with bubble gum and with bubbles to capture the movements; I then uploaded this project to my blog. I now feel very confident using this too.

Composition grids	Y		To improve and gain experience with this tool I did a project where I used different eyelines in pictures and uploaded them to my blog commenting on and evaluating the effectiveness of each. I found that the eyeline being in the top first third of the image tended to be the most effective. I feel confident to an extent uing this tool, however I could practice this further to improve.

 

Photoshop Skills

Which of the following features of Photoshop have you used before:

Text control	Y		I used the tool a lot, if not the most, when using Photoshop. I used it on each project but the main being the final project where I created a front cover on Photoshop and here I used text control to add in all of my sell lines and edit them to the right sizes and everything for them to be effective and make my final piece. I now feel extremely confident using this tool.
